On Friday 24th of February, we hosted the China Best Value Wine & Spirits Awards 2012 and made it in SCMP’s CITYSEEN. The top picture features two of our judges, Jeremy Stockman of Watson’s Wines and Christian Pillsbury of Applied Wine with our director, Kelly England.
We had over 90 judges who tasted almost 500 wines from over 25 countries from 10:30 AM. Exhibitors included winemakers and representatives from Russian Winery Fanagoria, Italy’s La Mea di Marco Maci, Hong Kong’s Portrait Winemakers & Distillers and Austrian vintner, Jagersberger Neudorfl.
During the press event, Hong Kong’s supermodel Cara G. made a guest appearance for the ribbon cutting along with trade commissioners from the UK, US, Italy, France and New Zealand.
