The triumph obtained at the recent ‘China Wine & Spirits Awards’, the largest and most prestigious Chinese wine competition, from the ‘Lucciole vintage 2018’ sparkling wine produced by the ‘Serene’ winery in Affi (Verona) is also a Cremonese. The company, which won the gold medal in the ‘Vini spumanti rosé’ category, is in fact the Cremona Agricultural Consortium. The important recognition goes to repeat the triumph already reached by the ‘Serene’ at the 2016 CWSA in the same category with the ‘Lucciole 2013’ sparkling wine. The vineyards of the company ‘Serene’ are located in the territory of Affi. Biologically grown at an altitude of 250 m / slm and immersed in the suggestive scenery of the hills between Lake Garda and Monte Baldo, they enjoy particularly favorable climatic conditions that “make the wine unique in the Italian and European panorama”, as emphasized by the Consortium Agricultural. The company covers 24 hectares and also includes an estate with a local annex for tastings and sales. The company, which also produces high-quality olive oil, is managed by oenologist Stefano Galber with the commercial and oenological collaboration of external consultant Mario Zuffada.
