Research showed that factors increasing interest in sale included ‘Seeing CWSA Medal Stickers listed on correspondence; price lists; wine descriptions’, ‘Seeing CWSA Medal Stickers on bottles at Trade Shows’, ‘Seeing CWSA Medal Stickers on bottles of wine sent as samples’. CWSA Judge and professional wine buyer Richard Howe said ‘When I see wines wearing CWSA Medal stickers, I immediately know they have been recommended by my China based peers.‘ To be successful in China, it is now essential to have a good reaction at the CWSA.
