This shows how the impression of international wine in China is at an all time high, known for it’s impressive reputation for the growing and desirable demographic of wine lovers. ‘When you mention France, you now think of red wine, so we serve award winning wines and present bottles as high grade gifts’ according to Ms Zhitao, brand manager of Peugeot Southwest China. French wines have enjoyed a greater market share due to their early movement into the China wine market. Now they stand besides Australia, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Argentina as the major suppliers.
