Australia was the biggest winner and took the podium table awards of China Wine Awards (CWA) to win 68 gold medals between 2000 wines from 35 countries exhibitors. Other countries that obtained major awards were Portugal with 45 gold medals, Italy and South Africa with 37, Spain with 27 wines winning gold, France with 26, New Zealand 19, Chile 16, Argentina 12 and surprisingly Greece with 10 medals.
