Volume and Value Increases by Australian Wines into China

More China Wine Market News…

Wine Australia’s quarterly Wine Export Approvals Report September 2012 showed bottled wine exports to China grew by 16.3 per cent in volume and 23.1 per cent in value. The massive shipments of Australian red and whites to the region helped China confirm its position as the biggest destination for Australian bottled wine exports.‘The growth at higher price points is very positive news for the Australian wine industry’ said Andrew Cheesman Wine Australia’s Chief Executive. In order to protect long term success, Australia has been working hard to increase the price points, image and quality of their wine exports into China, which is good news for Australian wine makers and all other countries importing into China.
